Holly Hunter is a well-known American actress as well as producer and director. Her work has been recognized for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. She has won several awards for her work and has even won an Oscar. Actresses have a long experience of performing on Broadway, Off-Broadway and other initiatives. She is a lover of acting ever since she was in high school. Her first role in a show in the fifth grade was in Helen Keller. The mumps caused her to lose her hearing in one of her ear canals, but that was not enough to stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. At college, she was a theatre student and later moved from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, to New York City in pursuit of her dream. She ran into Beth Henley in an elevator and they collaborated in Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. As she relocated from New York to Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land movie roles. An supporting role was found for her in Swing Shift. For the past 30 years Holly Hunter has been on many TV and film shows. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
